Do you also get asked this by boomers?

Every time we see my wife’s grandparents they ask the same two questions: When are we having kids? When are we buying a house? We are in our middle 20s and we make a decent salary but with the cost of rent, food and insurance no one is able to afford a house that went from 350k to 500k in two years. In regards to kids, We agree we are not bringing kids to this world until things get better and if they just keep getting worse well then I’ll be doing them a favor not bringing them to this fucked shit. Boomers don’t seem to understand that things have changed and it’s 10x harder than when they were in their 20s. For instance, they didn’t go to college and are owners of a small car dealer, own 2 houses paid and drive new cars. Will love to see them…

I usually ignore them but the other day I couldn’t hold myself anymore. I turned in my lease early for some $ as I’m working from home and we have another car that my wife uses. They were like “ you should have kept it or buy it because you always need a second car at home for emergencies “. Typical boomers mentality of more and more not matter if I’m going to use it lol. I can’t believe I pay social security to maintain this people when they clearly don’t needed.
