Do you tell your boss when they are wrong?

I manage her branch and she is the owner. My boss is constantly messing up and I always cover for her with clients and even our staff so we don't look unprofessional. She is just rather irrational and acts before she thinks and makes wrongful assumptions. The thing is, she is extremely vocal infront of clients and staff when we make mistakes, she screams and throws personal insults. Borderline abusive behaviour, belittling and demeaning us infront of our students/clients/parents. Today I pointed out for the first time a mistake she made that impacts my job that I dilligently have asked her not to do again in the future. She didn't take it so well. But I think I should do this more often. Or maybe not worth the effort? I have resigned twice in a year already and she keeps apologizing and then building me up, offering more time off…

I have resigned twice in a year already and she keeps apologizing and then building me up, offering more time off and salary increases/bonuses. Two days later we're back where we started.

But anyway, I feel like standing up for myself more. Do you?
