Im in no way religious, I think its a tool to sow divisiveness. Live your life by your own principles, dont force them on others. Thats the extent of my belief. However, and please correct me if Im wrong, but dont you think, that by the bibles own teachings, modern Christians have been hoodwinked by “The Devil”?
Think about it, Jesus supposedly wanted to spread the message of love and compassion for your fellow man and how greed was the root of evil. Wasnt it also said the devil would attempt to sway you with honeyed words and false promises..
Now, we live in a modern world with mass poverty, rife inequality, murder, war and corruption is our daily news diet. These Christians ruling against abortion and womens reproductive rights, awful people justifying their actions as righteous in the words of the bible (which was written by MAN). Churches paying no taxes and rife horrific sex scandals associated with the church… its not a good look. These religious fanatics are always deeply unpleasant people and I cant help but wonder, if there was a heaven, I wouldnt want to be there with them.
If the Devil takes in everyone else for sins like masturbation, drug use, impure thoughts, homosexuality, video game usage, sex out of wedlock etc. Doesnt that sound infinitely better than eternity with a bunch of judgemental controlling and power hungry supposed Christians
Ironically I think they have missed the bibles teachings completely and spun everything for their own gain, essentially creating a hell for everyone around them.
The ones not following the “teachings” and actively respecting and caring for people animals and the planet in essence are the perfect christian?
Obviously I dont think all Christians are bad people, just the power hungry ones with influence. If Christ was alive I think hed be appalled at what acts have been committed supposedly in “his name”. Its food for thought at least… or maybe Ive finally gone insane. Either way, thanks for reading my mad ramblings
