My job sucks right now and I’m interviewing again in a couple of hours for more pay.
But I got a call this morning from a guy that took over my old role at my job. We weren’t exactly close, but he was begging me to help get him out.
I actually liked that previous role a lot but saw it becoming bad with a management change so I got the fuck out.
I’ve noticed this pattern of how I’ll make a role manageable and streamline it. Then everyone is chill and happy and immediately upper management will take notice and fuck it up badly, usually by rotating their worthless favorites onto the team.
I can never have true peace in corporate.
