I work at a grocery store and for every 7 hour shift you only get two 15 minute breaks. However I take two 30 minute breaks because like fuck it? I’m paid by the hour and the job isn’t that serious. I’ve been talk to a few times how it’s “stealing company time” but I like to argue and say what’s the difference between me taking extra long breaks and management shooting the shit with other co workers and not actually working? Isn’t that stealing time using their own logic? I just wanted to know if anyone else does this sort of stuff to. It’s crazy to cause I notice some co works will actually set a timer on their phones for 15 minutes and I can’t help but think why are you doing that to yourself? Take a longer break? You don’t need to be scared or a kiss ass
I’m also interested in other things any of you do at work that is sneaky or “fucks the system”
