Growing up in the southern U.S. this movie was shown as an example of why we shouldn't “play God”. Looking back on it, it's crazy that the reason we shouldn't genetically prevent our kids from getting diseases and disabilities is because the people who opt out won't be able to get a job. Capitalism will kick them out of society so instead everyone should be prone to diseases.
