My boss talks/brags about how he's never missed work and how he pushes through sickness, stress, missing his kids graduation and his mom's funeral. He tries to make it seem like he is proud of it like he wants us to praise him but honestly I feel sorry for him. He encourages us not to miss work but if I need to get off work for my mom's funeral I am not missing it for the fucking world.
