For starters, I am aware there such a thing as pretty privilege. At the beginning of my current job I had very long hair, did minimal makeup and was ALWAYS asked if I had considered moving up. People that didn’t know me at all asked me frequently. However a few months back I buzzed my hair and it’s like I’m suddenly not manger material? Maybe the hair makes me look less professional? Anyway I’m mostly just rambling but I’m happy to hear what you guys have to say.
