I’m currently waiting in line to donate plasma. Another guy waiting here is sitting and working. Most people I know donate plasma to make ends meet. This is basically a second job to me. The fact that people are working while waiting in line to donate makes me sad. During the school year (I’m a teacher) donating can be stressful because I sit there and think about all the things I need to get done for work and how I don’t have time to wait in line. But we need the money.
There really isn’t a purpose to this post. I’m just tired and things need to change. They announced we are getting a 2% raise and acting like we should worship them for it. Meanwhile insurance is going up making that raise nonexistent. Sorry. I’m mainly just ranting.
