Got fired last week from a small Nonprofit, where my job was essentially a job that most orgs would have 3-4 people doing. After crying for a day or two I started looking for new jobs, and I didn't even realize how low I was selling myself. I could make more money at the local Verizon store than I did at my previous job.
I already have one interview on Friday, and a few more (hopefully) coming in the upcoming weeks.
The point is, remember that Nonprofits can be just as exploitative, if not more, than any private companies.
