Just wanting peoples' thoughts on this. Acquaintance said her supervisor is trying to push her into a lead role that she is not interested in, for various (valid) reasons she shared with me. He has told her at least twice now, “Come on, don't be a baby; take the job.” Am I correct that this is completely unprofessional and demeaning? Because I told her I think it's totally inappropriate.
