Just came back from a job interview offering better pay and better benefits (for more work ofcs), they were excited to have me there but I couldn't actually accept the offer. It's too much work and I don't think I can do shit anymore. For context I'm 19 and I've been working for around 9 years (illegally yes) now I'm a web developer and I hate this soul sucking field. People in this field are very lifeless and weird, they devout their life to this trade in almost a cult like manner, it pays good but too much is expected from you, atleast where I live you're expected to perform more tasks than you should have and even take tons of work back home.
I didn't re sign my contract where I'm working rn and I don't plan on signing another contract in my life. I haven't been able to hold down a career for a long time so maybe it's my fault but I just hate how this system works. I want enough money so I can buy land and be self sustainable.
