I hurt myself a while back and have currently been on restricted duty, working though worker’s compensation. Ive been scheduling appointments on days i dont work to make life easier on myself. The one time i can not schedule a crucial appointments on a day i dont work i am told i either have to take an absence strike or use my pto to go to this appointment.
It feels wrong that if i injure myself at work any related appointments i may have to go to during work come put of my pocket rather then my work paying for the hour or two i might miss. My only option is to use built up pto or get a strike.
Im upset to say the least.
