Don’t let imposter syndrome stop you! You don’t need to be an expert to transition into a new career.

If you’re trying to make a career change, realize that people don’t expect you to know everything. For example, if you’re a junior software engineer, you won’t need to know every language, and you’ll still need assistance here and there. Here are some ways to prep yourself: You’ll want to delay your career change because you don’t know everything. Don’t! Focus on building confidence in your ability to learn and problem-solve.  Talk to career changers and recent hires. They can tell you what job expectations are and what their workload looks like.
