We work 6 days a week £9.50 an hour in a small but very busy shop and post office.
3 of us run the place and then there's my boss and his family.
I've seen his wageslip once on accident it said he gets £1000 a week but I think he probably gets more.
We get £330 a week for 6 days but my boss only have to work 2-4 hours a day sometimes less.
His staff are constantly leaving though and like the most recent a new starter was completely honest with him why hes quitting.
He said he feels like he doesnt have a life with 6 days a week, I told my boss this a year ago when I left but I ended up coming back because my new job at Amazon was only a 6 month contract and i've gotta keep the money flowing to run a house.
He always brings in some new desperate guy from god knows where, Romania, India, Scotland.
I was desperate when I got the job, i'd been unemployed for 4 years and hadn't ate properly for all of that time, that was 4 years ago now.
I don't understand why he doesn't offer us a better schedule and pay, I don't think him and his family are millionaires but they could easily be and nobody would be shocked, they're filthy rich.
But paying us only 9.50 an hour?
