You will regret it.
The turnover rate is fairly comparable to fast food and retail. The demand is unrealistic. The system and drama of the school board, the supervisory union as well as the internal affairs among you to the co-workers to other school workers will break you down.
It will make you hate kids more than even dealing with rudely customers, mainly because of how much of a problem they can provide to you. The hours are asinine, plans keep changing, things stop making sense and you're expected to do everything.
It is not worth it. If you can find custodial work that allows you to have headphones on and listen in peace while cleaning, go for that job. Don't bother with a school.
