I started a new job last month. This week I had a drs appointment so I told them and asked if I had to book the time out as I did with my last job. Nope just let them know the time and they'll pay it me. I tell my dad this as he worked at the same place as my old job and apparently his department manager does this too… turns out its just my old department manager forcing people to use holiday time to cover appointmnets. Just another reason to be glad I left I guess.
