I have to know if this is a standard thing in other businesses. In a technical support group, we cover different versions of software that all do basically the same thing: automate warehouses. With several people leaving, a few were promated to “tech leads” and today we drafted teams. Litterally, first lead picks the person they want and around the room and at the end it was set, no changes. This seems like a crazy way to organize talent. Have you ever seen this?
