Dress Code is stupid af in corporate and here’s what I’ve been doing.

I work in a Bank as Cybersecurity, the typical dress code is business casual. Coming from a company that had no dress code I think it is stupid af. The concept of “dress for the job you want” is cringe. I’ve been just dressing normally and no one have said anything for about 15 months now. Granted I do wear dress pants and not show up in shorts but I want to wear sneaker, I want to wear just a t-shirt. It does not effect my productivity. Slowly I’m starting to see people wearing long sleeve t-shirts, black sneakers etc. The CEO have not said anything yet (besides last year but I just kept wearing regular clothes). If you are not facing costumer directly, why do you have to dress up? There are occasions where I put on a button up, like new employee onboarding and bleats meetings but besides…
