Antiwork

Due to my failing mental health and problems at home I asked my work if I can reduce hours….

They reluctantly agreed as they know it is very hard to find someone with my professional qualifications and I am already on the brink of leaving. Last week we had a meeting and agreed I would be cutting Mondays from my working week (I was working 50 hour weeks this will make it 40). I work with two other people. However tonight whilst out at a family meal I had a text from the owner saying I need to come in (on my FIRST) Monday off as the other two have COVID. So not only has my day I had plans been taken I also have to do three peoples jobs…. I felt like I couldn’t fight it as they are ‘doing me a favour’ letting me reduce I replied saying ok and he didn’t even say thanks. Feel like I should make an excuse now?
