Due to some circumstances I've had to start looking for waitressing jobs to pay the bills. I've had a bunch of bad experiences so far but the worst has been about 30 minutes ago when I was told I'm too old for the job, the owner said he's looking for a “girl between 18-25 tops but you know, can't say things like that on a job ad these days hurr durr”.
He continued by asking me if I was married, I said I'm engaged. He said “well you're engaged and in your 30s even if I wanted to I can't hire you because you should be focusing on having kids and if you get pregnant I'm gonna have to pay your maternity leave. Why should the government punish me for you having a kid? I'm doing you a favor really”
Ok you mofo piece of sh1t. You're in a position of power, just say no. No need to waste my time and insulte me. As if looking for work wasn't hard and soul crushing enough, having to deal with absolute c*nts makes it even harder.
