EI – what’s your method

What’s the best way to ensure you get EI? OP thinks he may get fired within next month timeframe due to upcoming vacation pay. So basically I heard no salting but union doesn’t work that goes to workers comp, termination with reason ROE will void your EI resulting in denial. I heard through the grapevine say if you answered a call where somebody started yelling at you, calling you all sorts of names you could use that for EI? ROE with laid off is ideal, but if not possible to ask HR what is the best way to ensure your EI? Never quit, get fired? Also heard if found employment elsewheres as like you applying for job but didn’t secure? Can someone please give some guidance here how to proceed?
