I'm from Michigan and I need help figuring this out.
My employer says that we start getting paid after 50mins of driving from home to job site and from job site to home, and I recently found out that they use Google maps while offline to calculate drive time. Is that legal?
I am an hourly based worker and my employer uses my pto, without my permission, to reach 40 hrs if I'm short ( so if I work a total of 35 hrs because I had to leave early from some reason my employer would use 5 hrs of my pto to get me to reach 40 hrs). Is this also legal?
