Employer can’t pay us on time. How to get the most out of resigning?

Employer met with all employees today to let us know they will not be able to pay us on our regularly scheduled pay date (the 20th) for pay period 3/1-3/15 and they are not sure when they will be able to. Business is a small medical practice in California. I've watched this company mishandle their money/loans for months and have been expecting this to happen. I should have gotten out sooner. I have been with the company for 4 years and have saved up around 100 hours of PTO. I believe in CA the employer has up to 72 hours to pay final paycheck before late fees will apply. I am unsure how late they will be on paying us or even if they will be able to pay us for the current 3/16-3/31 pay period on 4/5 after they finally pay us all for the 3/1-3/15 period.

I want to milk this resignation for all it's worth. What are the best steps?
