Employer changes schedules without giving any notice

I work part time at a grocery store, the last shift I had was Saturday morning (2 days ago). I check the schedule every time I go in just incase something changes, but when I checked on Saturday, it showed that I had a shift this evening, as it did when it was originally posted 2 weeks ago. Well when I got there for my shift today and tried punching in, the punch clock wouldn’t let me and said I was “not scheduled”. So I checked the schedule again and it was completely different, as in a entire new one had been printed out for this week and I was no longer working today.

So naturally I left and went home, this isn’t the first time this has happened. Our schedules are posted 2 weeks in advance so there is plenty of time to make changes and give notice. Not to mention the fact that my manager has my number so even a simple text message would have worked. I don’t know how they expect me to know whether I’m working if they update it and I’m not going to be there to check it before that shift.
