As the title says. My co-workers have been taking pictures of health violations at work in an attempt to try to get management to address it (but they won't). Instead they are demanding employees to give them their cell phones so they can search through their phone apps for pictures of the store. They are also doing this to minors. Any advice is appreciated.

EDIT for clarity: I have filed a complaint against my employer for having cockroaches living in our machines that make food. I am concerned that my employer will retaliate by asking to search our phones and go through photos, snapchat records, facebook messenger and whatsapp. They have done this before when two employees brought a dead/dying mouse into the restaurant – they did not discipline the employees who brought the mouse in only the employee who took a photo of it. They are refusing to address the cockroach infestation and are making employees delete facebook messages about it (including the messages that management is sending)
