We just got a company-wide email saying as of January 1, 2023 we must all be in the office Tues-Thurs. The rule right now is two days a week.
I'm simply going to refuse to comply and see what they do about it. If it's an issue, they can fire me. I'm highly employable and will have a new job within a few months. I'll enjoy some vacation time in between.
My commute is 1.5hrs one way, assuming no delays on my commute. Not adding another 3hrs to my work week when I'm doing my job just fine as is.
Fuck my employer. If they want to try and force this on me, I'll take my talents elsewhere.
