I’m a yoga teacher and I was sick a couple weeks ago and ended up calling in sick a little over an hour before my class begun.
The studio owner didn’t realize until it was a bit late.
She has now shorted my check claiming it a “cancellation fee” for the class.
I was no advised this was a policy for the studio nor did I even sign any agreement or contract stating I was ok with this.
Is this legal? How can I proceed.
Any help would be appreciated.
