Employer overreach needs to end

Im honestly tired of how employers feel they should be able to dictate every single second of their employees lives, regardless of the circumstances. Whether that be personal off time, break time, on the clock, etc, employers continue to push how far they can have a say into what goes on. To be specific about why I even bothered to make this post, my supervisor just threatened to fired me for clocking in 2 minutes late simply because I had to use the bathroom. I understand attendance policies are there for a reason, but at what point do we draw the line of what is and isnt acceptable to be punished for? Last time I got written up, its because maintenance suddenly showed up to fix a pipe…so I could just continue taking calls for about 5 minutes while they worked in the back storage area.
