Employers need to learn what the fuck “entry-level” means

I’m so tired of reading through an ENTRY-LEVEL job description that sounds exactly like what I want and what I’d be qualified for, only for it to say: “Requires 5+ years of experience” at the bottom of the page. “ENTRY-LEVEL” means “NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.” Not ten years, not five, not even one. ZERO. The only reason I’ve been unemployed for months is because I have to spend hours sorting through positions FALSELY marked as “entry-level” that BY DEFINITION AREN’T ENTRY-LEVEL. I’ve started reporting every single one to LinkedIn and Indeed. Of course it doesn’t do anything, but it’s fun to pretend I have some sort of power in my life. If I can get in trouble for lying on an application, companies should be held accountable for lying about the position.
