Why is this even a question? I got laid off roughly a year ago and I've been feverishly applying to everything under the sun. Even low skill jobs whatever I NEED money right now. No luck. That question offends me because they elude to me not trying to look for work or I'm lazy. During the time off I took some online classes and learned new skills but it still doesn't seem to sit right with these people. Is it that people don't want to work or are mfs not hiring????
