I've been applying for analyst roles because I feel like I am qualified for those however the feedback I get is that I am not experienced enough. Now these roles, I almost got them but they just want a bit more experience and in some instances I got 2nd from their feedback. So I thought to myself, I'll do the role several levels lower so I get some experience albeit the lower pay which I am okay with for a short time. This role paid about 10k less but I was okay with it because I am pretty sure I was going to get it.
I got the interview and when I was going through the interview, they kept asking for experience. This experience and that experience. Have I got any lab experience? Have I got any experience deploying system information nationally? Disregarding my undergrad and postgrad degrees. They want all this for pennies. I'm fucking sick of them. How the fuck am I suppose to get experience in a laboratory role when the job is an entry role for an analyst?
When I asked them how do I get this laboratory experience, they said I should ask my local region, I then ask them if they offer that service and she said no. Fuck off. how the fuck am I suppose to get that experience then?
This role should have been a supporting role for the analysts, not the analysts themselves. Fucking hell, companies are fucking dumb af.
