Just for giggles, I put in for a Customer Service Specialist position at SJI Industries because the pay looked decent for South Jersey ($48,000 to $65,000 a year).
A woman called me back and asked about setting up an interview, so I asked her what the job was about. She said it was in person in Moorestown and they are a business consulting firm for several corporations. Since it is over an hour drive, I asked what the pay rate/financial compensation was and she said that everyone started out at entry level for a bit but that pay was to be discussed later.
I didn't accept the interview as I'm peachy keen at my current job, but now I've started thinking that the job description is very vague and not much is available about this company. I'm getting “call center” vibes; has anyone else heard of this company?
