Every reason they told us to be thankful we live in America is now a reality in our poor communities and it’s been that way for decades.

Instead of improving things they’ve just taught us to look away. If you watch a movie where the American military is in a “third world” country. You see people in shitty neighborhoods standing around watching them. Have you driven by our poor communities? Buildings that look condemned surrounded by those without jobs or hope of upwards mobility. Childhood hunger? Guess what even middle class Americans are now experiencing that. Book burning? As Rage famously said in the 90’s. They don’t burn the books they just remove ‘em. The food lines that the Soviet Union was so criticized for and now food pantry’s regularly talk about hundreds coming and running out of food daily. We are everything we were told to look down on and it’s getting worse.
