Everyone else in my position works online, but I’m forced into the office…alone.

At my job, I have a specific position and title. Everyone else – around 5-6 people – have this same role. All of them work purely from home, completely remote. But, as of my second week of work, my boss said the “higher ups” who I’ve never met or interacted with want me in the office every single day. This wouldn’t be an issue if I wasn’t told the job would be “mostly online”, and the commute wasn’t taking up 2 hours of my day. To make things worse, it feels like no one else in the office is ever even there. At most, a quiet old lady or the office manager will be in, but I consistently open and close the office myself as no one else who DOES go in seems to stay as long. Am I overreacting? Unfortunately nothing in any of my contracts say anything about…

Am I overreacting? Unfortunately nothing in any of my contracts say anything about online work despite other online co-workers telling me that it’s a breach in contract.
