Everyone laid off but I’m unprofessional?

Some might remember the post I made days ago regarding that I might get laid off with severance. Well, that happened and even though I was only there for 2 months, I got a severance, which is nice. But the manager decided to tell me I was unprofessional for demanding a raise when no news about layoffs was coming down, but they wanted to pile a ton of work on me since I was the only one of my job that hadn't quit yet. I found out when I started that I was hired at a lower rate than other employees were hired at despite doing the same work. Also, I was technically doing two jobs. There were other things that I would consider unprofessional from the company, so why should I feel bad for being unprofessional? I think companies need to be treated how they treat their employees. Was I in the wrong for being demanding? Should I have been more “professional” given the circumstances?
