I was fired recently from my job. It was more fuel to add to my stress fire.
Now once my ex-boss escorts me off the premises, we talk for a little bit. Then he asks, “So how is that lawsuit going for you?” I am currently in the beginning of lawsuit because of a car accident I was in last month. I had to leave early one day to sign some paperwork.
I had tears in my eyes from being told I lost my only source of income, but I was bawling once he asked about that.
TL;DR: Right after firing me, my ex-boss asks how a lawsuit against me is going.
