I’m probably over thinking this and being too sensitive, but hear me out. I am a remote worker based in a different state than where my company is located. My team is having a BBQ tomorrow all day at a park which all my teammates are going to. Free food, games, etc. I obviously can’t go because I’m in a different state. They made it clear that it’s a normal work day for me. Is it just me, or does that seem wrong? I’m salary btw and so are my teammates. So while they’re all having fun and socializing… just be slaving away as normal. Thoughts?
