Why do contractors have a different (and higher) federal min wage than regular w2 employees? Especially since I feel like the majority of contractors are independent and set their own prices or often make WAY more than that because its a trade?? I am just confused why there are two, and one is at least 3 dollars lower…… and contractor min wage is likely to be raised??
