I've been working for this company for 3 months already and they offered me to extend the contract for additional 6 months. They offered “whopping” raise of 60 USD. I've been working my butt off in 3 shifts, only took one day off in the meantime and my health became worse. I have low immune system( leukopenia and no monocytes) and I feel fatigued most of the time. I had one on one meeting with my boss and somehow I felt bad if I said how I actually felt about the job. Working from home is possible but they don't allow it. The working conditions are okay and the job itself is not too difficult, the crazy shifts and the humiliatingly low salary are enough of a reason for anyone to leave, yet I don't have the confidence and courage to stand up for myself. I have emergency funds for 6 months. I am applying for different jobs in the meantime, but no luck so far.
