Feeling guilty for calling in

I called in sick today because I just couldn’t do it. I haven’t been sleeping lately because I’m so stressed over big changes coming in my life. I’ll be quitting my job sometime in the next few weeks. Despite all this I still feel guilty for taking a day off? It’s June and I haven’t taken a single day off all year, so why do I feel so bad? For context I’m 30, and I’ve been grinding at the corporate ladder for ten years. I simply couldn’t do it today. I haven’t slept in days. I’m exhausted and stressed and I don’t know how to function at work dealing with whining customers all day long. I’m also very nervous about picking a day to give my two weeks. How do I just pick a day for that?? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks
