feeling left in the dark with a new job

The other day, i went to a hiring event at a local food manufacturing company. I got there and put my name on the sign in sheet and within a minute, someone appeared and took me back to interview. The interview lasted maybe only 5-10 minutes. She didn't specify as to wether i was hired or not but next thing i know she leads me over to some chairs outside some offices. She asks if I have my phone with me and i say yes. She says to go ahead and apply. I do so while another lady magically appears and is like, “are you done yet OP?” I tell her no because the service in the building is awful.

Once I'm done applying, I'm rushed into the restroom
For a drug test. Once that's done, they sit me by myself in a room in the common area for close to 30 minutes. They said they were going to give me a factory tour but they didn't. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, the lady i mentioned that magically appeared earlier did so again and said “OP did you complete your tasks?” I look at her blankly and im like, “ummm what tasks” she said i should have got an e-mail with 5 tasks to do for onboarding. That would have been nice to know! No one told me that's what the next step was and what i should have been working on. Luckily, they were easy and i got them done on my phone within 5 minutes.

I then go and sign a consent form to send my urine off to a lab. Lastly, I come back out the main entrance and the registration lady makes sure my tasks are done and says to look out for a background check email and where to send my drug test. The whole process only took about an hour.

I got the email and i put my info for the background check. But i didn't see an option for where to send my drug test. Last time i checked, it said they have received it so i guess we'll see what happens it been a couple days.

At this point all i really know is that the pay is
$17/hr and I'll be on second shift. THAT'S ALL THAT I KNOW. I didn't even get a factory tour, so i don't even know what it looks like. My family keeps asking me questions and i don't even know the answer to them. All i know is the two things i listed above. I don't even know when I'll start.

So at this point, I'm just waiting around waiting to hear anything.
