Basically title. There's a work convention coming up, 2.5 hours from my city. I said I'd go in January, before I had two additional pets, and before I had to get rid of my reliable car for a shitbox with other 200k miles, no working brakes half the time, that stalls and doesn't start randomly, etc. The conference was refundable up until August 26th, but of course these fucking idiots send out zero reminders beforehand. So now I either need to get in my death trap and try and make it there, which takes up my Sunday with work shit, and leave my pets alone until Tuesday with no care as it's such short notice. The conference cost $575. I feel like I'm about to just walk out and never show back up to this shithole company. BRB gonna go jump off a bridge
