Hello
Hopefully this is okay to post i don’t know what other place to post it. But i just want to know if anyone knows what can be done.
My fiancé is taking paid sick leave through the state because her mental health has gotten really bad and work has not been helping (customer service angry customers yelling at her for 8 hours) she has been very vulnerable and transparent which takes a lot from her to let her bosses know about her mental health and they aren’t taking her serious. Her supervisor started making snarky remarks and eventually my fiancé asked to be moved to a new position that was open. They told her she needs to wait 4 weeks. 4 weeks has passed and they still won’t move her. So she gave them paperwork regarding her month off for sick leave. And now the position is no longer gonna be open for her. They told her because she pulled the “sick card” on them they won’t have that position open anymore. They won’t let her work remote to give her the comfort of our own home even though the supervisor and other workers can and was told to bring her laptop back. She’s been asking for a laptop for two years and just got it a month ago. All of this seems wrong and they don’t know or seem to try to care about the extent of her mental health. She’s so strong and she tries to heal herself and this job breaks her back down. Where can we complain or file a report to protect us and her rights?
