I live in the US. My former employer employed me from NY and I'm in PA. Both states have a law that final paycheck needs to be on time even if you quit without notice which is what I did. I normally get paid today as I have one of those banks that cash your check 2 days early. It happens without fail I get my check early. If an employer is withholding your check do they have to tell you? Also how long until I file?
