Finally an end to the trilogy of dealing with a shitty manager.

After 4 grueling months of dealing with a shitty, bossy, micromanaging boomer manager, I'm proud to say that I'm officially done with her. Context: Some bullshit about how being a POS manager is good for the workplace. Trying to get me back to work while having a contagious disease and lost one part timer because of minor incidents. Trying to get me back to work while having a contagious disease and lost one part timer because of minor incidents.

I am the last one on the schedule.

I was initially going to be resigning around mid August, due to the branch I'm working at is going to close down and I don't want to be there when they are tidying and packing up stuff. But my coworkers wanted me to stay and even offered to help me negotiate with the manager that I could return as a part timer with more flexible hours, strictly admin jobs (because despite being an admin, I also do storekeeper and sales jobs when they need me, which I expressed a lot of times that I don't like it) which are just dealing with documents and won't be doing anything else, and most importantly, weekends off since my grandmother had passed and I have to return to my hometown to pray to her occasionally, and weekends are the only days where no one in my family other than me are working.

When my coworkers relay my terms with the manager, she agreed, as the matter of fact, she was the one who told me that I would be doing nothing but dealing with documents. But as you can see from the text logs, oh how wrong I was for trusting her.

When I returned to work on Monday, initially I was doing what I was promised, nothing but dealing with documents. But as the second day comes, everything starts to crack. I was told that I can do admin stuff later, I need to go serve customers, need to do storekeeper jobs, pretty much being a errand boy while being paid like shit. I tried my best to minimize my workload as to not tire myself out, which turned out fine and no one was complaining so it was all good.

But then, the manager posted our schedule to our Whatsapp group, with me having shifts on the weekends. I immediately reminded her that I'm a part timer and as per our agreement, I will not be working on weekends. She refused, all because we are short on manpower and need all the support we can get (while she being the sole reason why part timers have been leaving left and right, resulting in the manpower shortage in the first place). I missed the part where that's my problem though, decided to not show up on the weekends anyway, while letting my coworkers have a heads up which they are cool with it.

Fast forward to yesterday, I did not show up as planned, and she called me 4 times in the morning which I did not answer at all, and resulted the 3rd screenshot. The attitude line strikes me as ironic though, as she constantly preaches about responsibility and attitude but when I put my responsibility on my family first, she is having a problem with it. All I can say about after all of this, is good riddance.

Sorry for the long post, this is my first time not dealing with bullshit from work. Have a for reading this far.
