This is an update of when my whole team voted to walk out
Those of us who filed for unemployment had it challenged by our former employer. We found out last night/this morning that we won the appeal despite our walking off a few days early without notice.
Last week one of my former team members interviewed with a competitor and mentioned that most of our team was available, this lead to them reaching out to us and offering us all positions. To the best of my knowledge 4 of the 10 people on my team will be going including me, possibly 2 more that haven't decided yet. The rest have already moved on to other jobs.
The new job pays slightly better, has twice the PTO (still only 2 weeks though..) and completely covers the cost of health insurance though the plan isn't great.
All in all we got about a month of paid (at a lower rate) vacation out of the deal and new bosses that hopefully wont suck.
