As a manager of multiple teams I can flat out tell you the above line is absolute BS and any company that requires you to do this, is NOT a company you want to work for. Our job as managers/leads it to make sure there is coverage, it is never on the employees to find their own coverage, if you are a manager doing this practice you need to stop now!
