Recently I’ve been looking for jobs because, well, I need money to survive. The issue is that I’m disabled. Every time I’ve mentioned my need for accommodation (which is literally to just be allowed to sit down) I don’t receive a call back. I’m so frustrated and annoyed. It’s literally the simplest request. Why is a chair behind a register so difficult of an accommodation that I wouldn’t be hired over it? (And before you ask, I don’t qualify for disability. Not that it would pay me enough to live anyways.)
