Just a little rant because I’m feeling really shitty rn. I had just gotten my first retail seasonal job for the summer while I’m off on break for college. I’ve only been working this job for one week and when I called about my schedule this week, my name wasn’t on any shifts. I thought this was odd but thought maybe my supervisor was just gonna add more shifts as the week went on. Turns out that they had terminated me two days ago and I just got an email telling me to file for unemployment. No explanation. Nothing. I felt like I was blindsided since I had only been working for a week and no once had I felt that there was anything to signal that the end was near. I’m kind of just at a loss rn. Any advice on what to do?
